Lot’s of good stuff to share with you guys. I’m still fresh off the drive from my most recent trip to Nashville, and couldn’t be more on fire for whats to come. Johnny Bulford and I had a great write last Tuesday, you guys are going to love the new song. Wednesday I was fortunate enough to merit an invite to breakfast with Emmerson Hart (Tonic) at the Loveless Cafe. I highly recommend the country-fried steak.
Thursday I had my cowrite with Bridgette Tatum, courtesy of 103.1 The Wolf. We knocked out 2 new songs in our session that I am super excited about! Hopefully they will pitch well on open ears and I’ll have even better news to bring y’all in the near future. I’m ramping up my game this year already on track to play over 300+ gigs with some new additions such as the talented “Uncle” Charles Stansell on the harmonica and John Zerrip on violin.
I am happy to also announce that I will be performing as backup vocals and lead guitar for the band LOCKHART (Featuring Johnny Bulford and Janell Wheeler) this year! We’re booked to play the Runaway Country Festival in March opening for Kenny Chesney. I can’t wait for you all to hear them and watch as their musical carreers skyrocket this year.
Love y’all, see you soon.
Hey everyone! I apologize, It’s been a minute since I’ve updated my site and let you know what’s been happening with me.
As most of you know by now, I WON the Wolf 1031 Songwriter Rounds competition in October! Since, then I have been focusing heavy
on my writing and booking as I prepare for the prize trip to Nashville to write with Bridgette Tatum in February.
I’m excited to be opening for Mo Pitney tomorrow at The Orchid Garden downtown Orlando. It’s quite a thrill to be opening for a larger national act.
Maybe he’ll take me on the road with him??
I also have some exciting news for next year, so stick around because I’ll be making the announcement soon!!!!
As always, thank you for all of your love and support.
As some of you might know, I was recently asked to compete in a songwriting competition presented by the good people at The Wolf 103.1FM.
I was so amazed at the support and love everyone shared to carry me through to the next round. On October 21’st, I will compete with 3 other semi-finalists for a chance to write up in Nashville with hit-songwriter Bridgett Tatum. I’m very excited (and yes, a little bit nervous) about the doors this opportunity may open.
I will desperately need your votes because I’m going up against some really talented folks! Thank you ahead of time for anyone who can be there that night to help support me as you all have so graciously done already.
Have a great day!
Hey guys! Just letting y’all know I made it up here safe and sound. Ready to spend the week working on new songs! Can’t wait to share the new stuff with you all, as well as make some new friends up here. Things are moving.
As some of you know, the recording process had come to an unexpected and screeching halt due to a multiple hard drive meltdown. Starting over has been rough to say the least, but good things have emerged from the ashes. I am excited to announce that I get to spend a few days at the end of this month in Nashville at Warner Chappell writing with such talented writers like Johnny Bulford, Jason Matthews, Benji Davis, and Janell Wheeler. I am thrilled for this opportunity to broaden my catalog and learn from some of the best in the business. The album has changed, and for that, I have as well in a lot of ways. Change keeps happening, so change for the better.
